Aloha, especially to my fellow residents of Senate District 21:
It's that time of year again, and our papers and TV News shows are full of election news.  This year, it's the Mayor's race that is getting all the attention, and it will be interesting to see what happens on September 20th.

I hope all the residents of my district will get out and vote.  I encourage you to let your voices be known. This year, I was proud to represent our district in my capacity as an attorney to make sure that Waimanalo Gulch is not kept open while alternate locations are being "studied."

This year, I am also proud to represent our State as Senate President -- a Senate President who grew up in Waianae.  We live in a wonderful place, and we all want to make it the best we can.

I am proud to be the Senator from my home district: Ko 'Olina, Kahe Point, Nanakuli, Ma'ili, Wai'anae, Makaha, Makua and Ka'ena Point .
